Rewinding Cleaning Media
1. Remove the T-Screw and large washer from the Feed Spindle.

2. Insert Plastic Coupler Core onto the Cleaning Media Core.

3. Loosen the Take-Up Spindle thumbscrew, but leave snug to provide adequate tension while rewinding. Proper tension is required to obtain a "tight" rewind.

Important: Loosely wound Cleaning Media will "cinch" on the core making accurate tensioning impossible. Ensure the Cleaning Media is wound tightly on the Plastic Core.

4. Using Plastic Coupler Core, tightly rewind the Cleaning Media. Ensure the Cleaning Media is correctly aligned. Accurate alignment is required to obtain uniform Take-Up (see photo)

Removing the Core from Take-Up Spindle provides greater flexibility for obtaining an even wind. Hold the Core using thumb and index finger; squeeze to provide tension; rewind slowly to obtain an even and tight wind.

Note: For maximum safety, change the Cleaning Media once depleted. Cleaning Media may safely be rewound and reused, depending upon the amount and type of debris on the Cleaning Media. The decision to rewind or replace must be determined by the operator.
