| Note: Please read these instructions from start to finish before beginning assembly, in order to fully understand the installation/alignment process.
The principle of the Handle Clamp is simple. The Left and Right sides are "locked" to the Front Bolts and spaced apart such that the clamp is "snug" but not tight. The Support is "locked" to the Front Bolts and aligned to center Film-O-Clean within the film path. After assembly, the Rear Bolt provides all of the clamping pressure.
The Rear Bolt is oriented either on top or bottom of the Handle Clamp. Deciding which orientation is best depends upon the projector and also your preferences.
Orienting the Rear bolt on top of the Handle Clamp facilitates rapid installation and removal - loosen the rear bolt to detach the clamp.
Orienting the Rear bolt on the bottom of the Handle Clamp facilitates greater clamping power and more stability with tapered handles - remove the rear bolt to detach the clamp.
Note: If the Projector Handle is substantially tapered, orienting the bolt on the bottom of the Handle Clamp may be the only practical method of installation. |
